The Noosa Slipper is not just designed in Australia; it is built here. Crafted in our Melbourne factory by Binder Enterprise, a second-generation sheepskin manufacturer established in 1989 , each pair supports local artisans and sustainable manufacturing practices. We use only A-Grade Double-Faced Sheepskin, meaning the suede leather and wool fleece are a single, natural hide—not glued together like inferior synthetic imitations.

Why "Noosa"? The Year-Round Slipper

Named after Australia’s iconic coastal town, the Noosa Scuff is engineered for more than just winter.

• Thermoregulation: The dense wool pile naturally regulates body temperature. It traps heat in winter but breathes in summer, wicking away moisture to keep your feet dry and cool.

   

• The Bound Sole: Unlike heavy rubber outdoor boots, the Noosa features a lightweight EVA sole with a soft binding. This makes it whisper-quiet on timber floors and flexible enough to feel like a second skin, while still providing enough traction for stepping out onto the deck.

   

Unisex Sizing & Fit Guide

The Noosa is a unisex style, popular with both men and women.  

• The "Snug" Rule: As with all genuine sheepskin, your slippers should feel firm and tight when new.

• The Stretch: Over the first week, the wool will compress and the leather will relax, stretching by approximately half a size to mold perfectly to your foot shape.

   

• Selection:

  • Ladies: Order your standard shoe size.

  • Men: We typically recommend sizing up one size from your standard shoe size to accommodate the width, or refer to our size chart for specific conversions.

Care Instructions

To maintain the pristine condition of your Australian Made scuffs:

• Protection: Treat the suede upper with Koalabi Water & Oil Repellent prior to wear to guard against spills.

• Cleaning: Hand wash only using a dedicated Sheepskin Shampoo. Do not use standard laundry detergents or washing machines.

• Drying: Dry naturally in the shade, away from direct sunlight or heaters, to prevent the leather from hardening.
